WhatsApp can now set reminders thanks to Any.do integration
Currently, WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging platform worldwide with millions of active users, and now it is about to get even better, thanks to the integration of new Any.do, a popular to-do list service.
Now, you can create reminders and tasks using the Any.do integration and keep up with friends and family on the same platform. No need to switch apps to add an event or set a reminder. Regrettably, the feature is available only to the premium subscribers, you can subscribe for $2.99/month. If you are a premium subscriber, you can enable and use Any.do in WhatsApp by following these easy steps on your Any.do app:
Go to Setting -> Integration -> Whatsapp
Add the phone number you use on Whatsapp and tap send.
Enter the 6 digits unique code that you received via text and confirm.
Turn your reminders on and start messaging in natural language to create tasks and reminders.
Subsequently, you can use Any.do chatbot to create reminders inside the WhatsApp messenger. For example, you can send a message such as “Cancel my Netflix subscription”, you will get a few questions like “Would you like me to remind you about this? If so, when?”. You can then reply either with no or an inexplicit time or a specific time. You will get a confirmation message as a reply and your reminder will be set.
Any.do will then send you a notification from its WhatsApp chatbot for the time you set while creating the reminder. You cannot only create events yourself but forward messages from other contacts, making it easier to set reminders.
